Lifft India awards Iran’s ‘Starvation’

Iranian short film ‘Starvation’ has been awarded at the Lifft India Filmotsav- World Cine Fest.

‘Starvation’, directed by Meysam Mohammad Khani, took part in the sixth edition of Lifft India.

The film brought Alireza Mehran the Best Actor award and brought Mohammad Mousavi the Best supporting Actor award in the festival.

Beside Mehran and Mousavi, the cast members of the film also include Nasim Adabi, Shiva Waisi, Javad Zeitouni and Pouya Azamati.

“All my pains come from one more chromosome…,” a synopsis for the film reads.

Literature, Illusion, Film, Frame, TV & Theater (Lifft) India announced its winners on December 25.
